Switch Lite Won’t Charge
If the Nintendo Switch Lite won’t charge, Nintendo recommends a few troubleshooting steps. The first is to ensure that the charging adapter being used is the official Nintendo Switch AC adapter. Users should also check that they’re not using the USB charging cable supplied with the controllers to charge their console. If the issue appears to be related to the charger and not the device, it might be worth checking that the charger is plugged into the AC charging socket on the console and not the USB or HDMI ports. On that note, make sure the Switch Lite is connected to a wall socket and not a power strip.
If the Switch Lite is turned on, check if the charging indicator appears at the top-right of the screen. If it’s not there, unplug the adapter from the wall socket and Switch Lite, wait for 20 seconds, and then reinsert both ends. If charging doesn’t resume, perform a hard reset as described above.
Switch Lite Screen Keeps Scratching
Gamers who expect to scratch their Lite’s screen can opt to buy a case to protect the device. In addition, it might also be worth taking a look at a screen protector as an extra safety precaution. Nintendo sells a variety of themed cases on its online store, most priced around $20. There’s also a Flip Cover and screen protector bundle for $40. A standalone screen protector is available as well, priced at $8. While these are official accessories, users can also check out Amazon for other third-party options.
