The Mercedes-Benz 2023 EQE SUV will start at $77,900 and come in three variants, with each one available in a choice of three trim levels.
Mercedes has revealed the 2023 EQE SUV’s pricing, and it looks like the EV qualifies for the $7,500 federal tax credit, with some caveats. Unlike its predecessor the EQS, the EQE SUV starts at $77,900 which ensures its eligibility for the incentive which is capped at $80,000. The EV already satisfies the final assembly in North America requirement as it’s being built in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
The SUV’s batteries are produced in Bibbs County. However, an MSRP of $77,900 means prospective buyers won’t have the opportunity to include many add-ons during configuration. The 2023 EQE SUV comes in three options — 350+, 350 4MATIC, and 500 4MATIC — each of which come in three trims called Premium, Exclusive, and Pinnacle.
Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV Trim Levels
The Exclusive edition comes with a slightly higher MSRP ($80,000 for 350+/350 4MATIC and $91,600 for the 500 4MATIC). It includes the Premium trim’s features, adding MBUX augmented reality for navigation, active ambient light, and the Level 2 active driver assistance package comprising a brand-new automatic lane change function.
For the Pinnacle version, the 350+ and 350 4MATIC editions start at $83,850 while the 500 4MATIC has an MSRP of $95,400. Apart from the Exclusive and Premium features, the Pinnacle trim adds four-zone climate control, an air balance package, a head-up display, and a Digital Light package.
It’s worth mentioning that a $1,150 delivery/destination charge applies to each order. Mercedes also offers some standard equipment on the EQE SUV, including a heat pump, an intelligent powertrain management system, the MBUX infotainment system accompanied by a 12.8-inch OLED multimedia display, and a 12.3-inch driver display. Buyers also get complimentary access to Electrify America’s fast charger network for up to two years. Mercedes-Benz says the 2023 EQE SUV will hit dealerships in Spring 2023.
