At CES 2023 in Las Vegas, Samsung unveiled its latest range of Neo QLED, Micro LED, and OLED TVs with AI and enhanced picture processing.
The company claims that the new technology makes SDR content “brighter and livelier for absolute immersion.” The feature is optional, meaning users can turn it off if they want to keep the images natural and without any artificial enhancements.
Samsung’s 2023 TV Lineup
Micro LED TVs have typically been priced at a premium, largely due to their massive screen sizes. While Samsung didn’t reveal the pricing of the individual models, the smaller sizes available this year will likely bring down the prices to make them more appealing to mainstream consumers.
Finally, Samsung’s new OLED lineup comes with Quantum Dot technology and is available in 55, 65 and 77-inch screen sizes. The TVs also feature Samsung’s Neural Quantum Processors like the Neo QLED lineup, thereby offering improved brightness and color accuracy. Samsung is also targeting gamers with this particular lineup by offering 144Hz panels with support for Samsung Games Hub. The Samsung OLED TVs also come with AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro certification for a tear-free, low latency HDR gaming experience.
